Dey, L.P. Granted Patent for AccuNeb®, Pediatric Asthma Medication
Napa, CA, March 16, 2004 - Dey, L.P., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on prescription drug products for the treatment of selected respiratory diseases and allergies, has announced that effective March 9, 2004, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a patent covering AccuNeb®. AccuNeb® is the only FDA-approved lower-concentration, unit-dose albuterol sulfate approved for the treatment of asthma in children aged two to twelve. AccuNeb® was developed by Dey, L.P.
