The DEY^® Brand secure wrap foil overwrap design is the result of intensive market research and internal expertise. This design helps patients avoid potential mix-ups with multiple medications by color-matching the pouch to its storage carton. This novel over-wrapping system is also designed to help lock out airborne viruses and contaminants. Unit-dose vials are sealed in groups of 5 within the airtight, foil pouch.

Bar coding is a further step toward reducing medication errors and verifying that the right patient is receiving the right drug, in the right dose, at the right time, through the right route. Our bar coding has been adopted throughout our unit-dose portfolio.

DEY^® chose to implement the RSS (Reduced Space Symbology) bar code on our 5-pack and single unit-dose pouches. This system allows us to ensure identification accuracy on even the smallest packaging unit, improve our partners’ ability to track inventory, allow automatic billing, and ensure safer dosing bedside.

Vials are embossed with large type as an added safety measure. Avoiding mix-ups and costly dispensing errors is the primary reason DEY^® Brand Generics are distinguishable from other products.
